Following the syllabus and philosophy of our successful 20 and 30 hour Classroom TEFL Courses, our virtual classroom TEFL courses are full of hands-on practical activities. Delivered online over Zoom by one of our experienced tutors, the course will
take you through how to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that are fun and engaging for all learner levels and age groups.
Even though the course is entirely online, don’t expect to be lectured at. This course is full of fun and practical activities that will give you the confidence to write and deliver your own lesson plans. You will also have the chance to deliver your
lesson plans to your peers during the teaching practices sessions.
20-hour Virtual Classroom Outline
The 20-hour Virtual Classroom TEFL Course consists of 16 hours of virtual classroom sessions (4x 4-hour sessions) plus four hours of pre-session tasks, including further reading and lesson plan preparation.
Morning, afternoon, evening and late sessions are available on both Saturdays and Sundays so you can choose which session suits your schedule best.
Afternoon sessions – 2pm to 6pm (GMT)
Early evening sessions – 5pm to 9pm (GMT)
Late sessions (recommended for US customers) – 10pm to 2am (GMT)

30-hour Virtual Classroom Outline
The 30-hour Virtual Classroom TEFL Course consists of 24 hours of virtual classroom sessions (6x 4-hour sessions) plus six hours of pre-session tasks, including further reading and lesson plan preparation.
In addition to everything contained in the 20-hour course this extended course also features a session on teaching young learners, and an additional teaching practices session.
Sessions are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm GMT.

Q. What technical set up is required to take part in the Virtual Classroom Course?
A. A PC, Mac or laptop computer with a webcam and Zoom (the free version)
Q. How many students will there be on the course?
A. To ensure you receive the best training possible, we keep classroom sizes to a maximum of 14 students per virtual course.
Q. What happens if I turn up late or even miss one of the sessions?
Q. Will I receive a certificate and reference letter like other classroom TEFL courses?
A. You will receive a 20-hour or 30-hour Virtual Classroom TEFL certificate for the virtual classroom course, as well as a reference letter from your tutor. For any of our combined virtual courses, the certificate will be for the combined course you have enrolled on.
