This course, held on weekends at locations across the UK and Ireland, is full of hands-on practical activities. Delivered by one of our experienced tutors, the course will take you through how to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that are engaging for all learner levels and age groups.
Full of fun and practical activities, this course will give you the confidence to write and deliver your own lesson plans. You will also have the chance to deliver your lessons to your peers during the two teaching practices sessions.
Please note: we recommend taking this course in combination with a 120-hour Premier Online or 200-hour Level Online TEFL course. With most employers requiring teachers to have completed a TEFL course consisting of at least 120 hours of study, this will ensure you’re in the best position for finding work.

A. 120 hours is the industry standard and what most employers look for, so we recommend combining this course with a 120-hour Premier Online or Level 5 course.
A. The weekend course has 19 units, from warmer sessions to lessons on how to find English teaching work overseas. Please consult the ‘Module Breakdown’ tab for more information.
A. Yes, of course! You will have access to our online forum where you can chat with other students on the same course as you. You can also join our Facebook group where you can share resources and find information on teaching English abroad and online.
A. Customers in the UK can pay for the course in four interest-free instalments using ClearPay. We currently do not offer a payment plan outside of the UK.
A. Course enrollment is easy. You can sign up online at any time through our website. We accept all major credit and debit cards and PayPal. A. All required learning materials are included in the course fee. We do recommend purchasing a good grammar reference book when you start teaching English, but this is not essential to complete the course. Browse grammar reference books on our Online Shop.
