Job Details

This school are one of Malaysia's premier English language centres and they are looking for another teacher to join their team of native-level-English-speaking teachers in June 2024.

They are owned and operated by a native-English-speaking teacher and they've been teaching English to people of all ages and nationalities in Malaysia since 2004.

They teach a range of courses mainly focused on pre-school and primary school children. Their pre-school students are between 4 and 6 years old and develop through six levels. From there they progress to their courses for primary school students. Their primary school students are aged between 7 and 12 years old. They do have courses for teenagers but the focus is on younger learners.

They teach 5 days per week (Weds to Sun) and classes are once per week for 2 hours with a short break in the middle. Their teachers teach a maximum of 24 hours per week.

They provide a comprehensive syllabus and course structure. Teachers also have access to their comprehensive teaching resource library and a lot of support from colleagues and management.

Requirements

Candidates should

be a native-level English speaker from the UK, US, Ireland, Australia, Canada or New Zealand

have at least 3 years experience teaching young learners

have a degree in any subject and a PGCE/CELTA/DELTA/Masters of Education

have a degree in Education/English Teaching/Early Childhood Education

Hold a TEFL certificate

be able to start work in Kuala Lumpur in June 2024
