Job Details

This Independent College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced teaching practitioner for EFL, teaching IELTS to A Level, AS Level and GCSE students from August 2024. It has an exceptional reputation for achieving excellent A-level and GCSE results, considerably above the national average. Applicants should have at least 3 years relevant teaching experience in the UK, preferably with the 16-18 age group.

It is based in the heart of Mayfair in central London, and all students progress on to universities in the UK, USA or Europe. Most students have high aspirations and so excellent exam results are a key USP of the college. Teaching is in small groups of no more than 8 students. The college is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), from whom they have received an outstanding commendation for the last 3 years.

Days: Part Time (specified days are determined in consultation with the candidate)

Salary: £40 per hour for approx 12 hours per week spread over 3 days (candidate selects the weekdays)
