Job Details

This school is actively recruiting for teaching positions beginning in November 2026, from Taipei to Kaohsiung and everywhere in between.

As part of a team of teachers from Taiwan and around the world, you will plan and teach fun and engaging English lessons for young Taiwanese students. You will grade homework and assessments, communicate student progress to parents, and help execute special events that engage students in cultures beyond Taiwan.

The curriculum teaches every part of the English language – reading, writing, speaking, and listening – and empowers students use English in natural ways.

Additional Benefits

Before entering the classroom, you will receive comprehensive training combing TEFL best practices, education psychology, and hands-on experience with our curriculum. Training and support continue throughout your first year as you develop your teaching practice and integrate into life in Taiwan. Further training and advancement opportunities are available for teachers beyond their first year.

Other benefits include:

  • Guaranteed minimum teaching hours (20 per week), with teachers averaging 25-26 teaching hours per week
  • Competitive teaching pay, starting between 680 and 730 NTD per teaching hour commensurate with relevant education and experience, with annual raises
  • An additional 3,000 NTD per month paid for completing administrative work
  • Flexible vacation time
  • Enrollment in Taiwan’s National Health Insurance program

Requirements

Prior teaching experience is not required. To meet Taiwanese government requirements, candidates must hold a passport from a country where English is an official language, a bachelor’s degree or higher (or an associate’s degree and TEFL certificate) from an accredited college or university, and pass a criminal record check. Successful candidates are team players who enjoy working with children and able to strike a balance between enjoying the adventures of living abroad and the routines and patterns of a successful classroom.
