Job Details

There is still time to teach in Taiwan in 2026!

This company is actively recruiting for teaching positions beginning in August, September, or November of this year, from Taipei to Kaohsiung and everywhere in between.

As part of a team of teachers from Taiwan and around the world, you will plan and teach engaging and effective English lessons for young Taiwanese students. You will also grade homework and acceptance, communicate student progress to parents, and help execute special events that help students experience cultures beyond Taiwan. Their curriculum teaches every part of the English language – reading, writing, speaking, and listening – and helps students use English in natural ways.

Additional Benefits

Their teachers receive comprehensive training on TEFL best practices, education psychology, and their curriculum before teaching. Training and support continue throughout the first year, and the structured curriculum supports both students and teachers.

Other benefits include:

  • Guaranteed teaching hours. You’re guaranteed a minimum of 20 teaching hours per week, with most of their teachers teaching 25-26 hours per week on average.
  • Competitive teaching pay starting between 680 and 730 NTD per teaching hour depending on related education and experience, plus an additional 3,000 NTD per month for completing administrative work
  • Annual contract completion bonuses and raises
  • Flexible vacation time, sick leave, and extended leave from your second year
  • Enrollment in Taiwan’s National Health Insurance program
  • Additional training and development opportunities

Requirements

Prior teaching experience is not necessary, but any sort of experience providing instruction or caring for children can be helpful. To meet Taiwanese government requirements, candidates must hold a passport from a country where English is an official language, a bachelor’s degree or higher (or an associate’s degree and TEFL certificate) from an accredited college or university, and pass a criminal background check. The most successful candidates are team players who enjoy working with kids and are able to balance establishing routine in the classroom and enjoying the adventure of living abroad.
