Job Details

Teach English in Barcelona and step into the classroom with full placement facilitation, pre-departure guidance, and 24/7 in-country support.

Placements are typically at local academies, through private tutoring, teaching online, or a combination of these - and are usually part time, so you may work across more than one school. Teachers can expect to support English language learning through engaging lessons, classroom activities, and cultural exchange, while gaining valuable international work experience in one of Europe’s most vibrant destinations.

Your visa allows up to 12 months of living and working in Spain.

This is a great fit for adventurous, flexible teachers who want structured support before departure and on the ground in Spain - and the chance to practice their Spanish while they teach.

Additional Benefits

Their Barcelona program includes full placement facilitation, detailed pre-departure guidance, visa guidance, and 24/7 in-country support.

Teachers can expect support with planning, documentation, budgeting, arrival logistics, SIM card setup, local bank account guidance, and access to an in-country support team. Program options include in-class TEFL/TESOL training in Spain through our partner Lingua Schools, leading to a Trinity Cert TESOL qualification, or placement-only support for teachers who already hold an accredited certificate.

Additional benefits include a lifetime placement guarantee across destinations, cultural orientation, strong travel opportunities, support networks, lesson plan templates, and resource directories.

Requirements

Applicants should be adaptable, open-minded, and ready to teach in a cross-cultural classroom environment. A bachelor’s degree is not essential for most Spain placements, and applicants should hold an accredited TEFL/TESOL certificate or be willing to complete one through TravelBud.

Candidates should be comfortable teaching learners across a range of ages, working part time and sometimes across more than one school, living abroad, and meeting Spanish visa, documentation, and school-specific requirements.
