EPIK Spring 2027 Intake

  • Teach in Korean public schools through one of Korea’s most recognized teaching programs
  • Work with elementary, middle, or high school students
  • Co-teach alongside a Korean English teacher
  • Help improve students’ conversational English skills and cultural understanding
  • Use creative and communicative teaching methods
  • Typical class sizes range from 20–35 students
  • Placements available nationwide, including metropolitan cities and provincial areas
  • Applicants applying early will receive guidance and preparation before applications officially open

Hagwon Positions

  • Teach English to kindergarten, elementary, middle school, or adult students depending on placement
  • Typical class sizes range from 5–15 students
  • Follow a structured curriculum provided by the school
  • Focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and interactive communication activities
  • Create engaging lessons and classroom activities
  • Work alongside Korean staff and fellow foreign teachers
  • Full-time teaching positions available throughout South Korea
  • Start dates available throughout Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons
  • Most positions operate Monday–Friday schedules

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Citizens of the following English-speaking countries are eligible:
  • United States
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in one of the previously mentioned countries
  • Clean national-level criminal background check
  • Eligible for the South Korean E-2 teaching visa
  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification.
  • Teaching experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to experience Korean culture
  • Comfortable working with children and/or young learners
  • Ability to work professionally in a multicultural environment
