Job Details

Teach English in South Korea and step into the classroom with guaranteed job placement, pre-departure guidance, and 24/7 in-country support.

Placements are in private language centres (Hagwons) or public schools, teaching kindergarten, primary, and high school students. Teachers can expect to support English language learning through engaging lessons, classroom activities, and cultural exchange, while gaining valuable international work experience in one of Asia’s most dynamic and rewarding destinations.

Contracts are for 1 year and can be renewed if you’d like to stay and continue teaching and travelling.

This is a great fit for adventurous, flexible teachers who want structured support before departure and on the ground in South Korea.

Additional Benefits

Their South Korea program includes guaranteed job placement, detailed pre-departure guidance, visa guidance, and 24/7 in-country support.

Placements come with an attractive package that typically includes free furnished housing, airfare reimbursement, paid holidays, a 13th-month paycheck, and health insurance coverage. Teachers can also expect support with planning, documentation, budgeting, arrival logistics, airport pickup where applicable, SIM card setup, local bank account guidance, and access to an in-country support team.

Program options include in-class TEFL/TESOL training in Incheon, online TEFL/TESOL certification, or placement-only support for teachers who already hold an accredited certificate.

Additional benefits include a lifetime placement guarantee across TravelBud destinations, cultural orientation, strong travel opportunities, support networks, lesson plan templates, and resource directories.

Requirements

Applicants should be adaptable, open-minded, and ready to teach in a cross-cultural classroom environment. A bachelor’s degree is required for teaching placements in South Korea in line with work visa requirements, along with an accredited TEFL/TESOL certificate or a willingness to complete one through TravelBud.

Candidates should be comfortable teaching children and teenagers, living abroad, and working within Korean school and cultural expectations. Applicants must also be able to meet visa, documentation, and school-specific requirements.
