Job Details

Looking for freelance British English teachers to take on students for 1-to-1 online classes.

Online classes focusing on general spoken English, office English, IELTS prep and young learners.

  • Pay: £15.50-£17.50 paid monthly in arrears
  • Freelance basis - you'll be offered classes as student enquiries come in
  • 55 minute lessons (adults)
  • 45 minute lessons (kids)

Full material provided for kid’s courses. Framework and partial material provided for adults courses with the tutor given flexibility on how they implement the material.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity that works well for teachers based in Southeast Asia or anywhere with stable internet and availability in peak hours for the China time zone.

Requirements

  • British - please only apply if you are British
  • Qualified with at least a TEFL/TESOL certificate
  • Experienced with one-to-one classes
  • Professional, reliable and punctual
  • A stable internet connection & a private and quiet place to teach, with good lighting and tidy background

Bonus points:

  • Experience teaching Mandarin speakers or understanding of challenges Mandarin speakers face when learning English
  • Experience teaching online
