Job Details

This school is getting ready for the increasing learning demands for 2026 summer courses with renewable contract opportunities (6-month period)

Please see details below:

About the role:

· Teachers with experience teaching Reach Higher and Reading Explorer are highly preferred.

· Complete scheduled classes by following the provided lesson material and teaching guide

· Available class sizes: 1v1

· Class length: 60 minutes including a 10-minute paid break, total 70 minutes per class; twice a week for one student.

· Student age group: young learners aged 6-12

· Work schedule:

Applicants must be able to commit to teaching at least 4 full reading classes per week during prime learning hours. Each class consists of a 60-minute lesson plus a 10-minute paid break, for a total scheduled time of 70 minutes per class. Classes are conducted twice weekly with the same student.

When does the position start？

As summer learning demand grows, we'll open more reading courses to meet our students' needs. The peak teaching period starts from late June to September. We are looking for teachers who can start teaching immediately.

Qualifications:

· Must have a bachelor’s degree or above

· Must be a holder of TEFL/TESOL/CELTA OR a valid State/provincial teaching license (required)

Requirements

· Must speak English at a native level

· Wired, high-speed, and stable internet connection, a working computer, and headsets (required)

· Punctual, responsible, good communication skills and easy-going personality

· A demonstrated respect for the values, cultural differences, and expectations of parents

· Teaching experience in K-12 or ESL setting is preferred

Work schedule:

The below times are all in Beijing Time (GMT+8):

Availability within the times shown below would be required

· Mon- Fri: Between 6 pm-9 pm

· Sat- Sun: Between 8:30 am-11 am; 2 pm-9 pm

Candidates must be able to commit to teaching at least 4 full reading classes per week during prime learning hours. Each class consists of a 60-minute lesson followed by a 10-minute paid break, requiring a continuous 70-minute availability block per class.

For example, teachers should be able to consistently open the same recurring time slot — such as 6:00 PM–7:10 PM — twice weekly for the same student.
