The Details

Employer: One of Japan's largest and most established English teaching companies

Experience: None required - full training provided

Training: 2 weeks of comprehensive, hands-on preparation before you start teaching

Location: Positions available across all 47 prefectures. Placements are made based on where our students need teachers the most. You can request a preferred location, but this isn't guaranteed - be prepared to be placed anywhere in Japan for your first year

Classes: Divided by age range (from 1 - 18yrs old), small to medium groups of up to 14 students,

Schedule: Afternoon/after-school hours - mornings and early afternoons are usually free

Role: Lead teacher from day one - more experience and responsibility right from the start

Start dates: Multiple intakes available throughout the year
