The average teaching load ranges from 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and scheduling. Teachers typically work a mix of group classes and private lessons, with class sizes varying according to age group and level.

In addition to teaching, instructors are expected to plan lessons, assign and review homework, and provide feedback to support student progress. Their programs emphasize active participation, practical language use, and a positive classroom environment.

Requirements

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to different age groups, including young learners, teens, and adults
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week, including afternoons and evenings
Commitment to completing the full contract period (9–12 months)
Basic Spanish skills (preferred, but not required) to facilitate daily communication
Punctuality, reliability, and strong organizational skills
Openness to feedback and continuous professional development
Cultural sensitivity and willingness to adapt to a new environment
Comfortable using educational technology and digital platforms for teaching and assignments
Previous teaching experience is not required; however, candidates must be highly teachable, open to guidance, and willing to continuously develop their teaching skills
