Job Details

Teachers at their academy deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons to a diverse range of learners, including young children (from age 8), teenagers, and adults. Courses range from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1/C2) levels, following a communicative and interactive methodology supported by modern teaching resources and technology.

The average teaching load ranges from 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and scheduling. Teachers typically work a mix of group classes and private lessons, with class sizes varying according to age group and level.

In addition to teaching, instructors are expected to plan lessons, assign and review homework, and provide feedback to support student progress. Their programs emphasize active participation, practical language use, and a positive classroom environment.

Teachers work across different age groups and levels, which provides a dynamic and rewarding experience. Ongoing academic support and training are provided to help teachers develop professionally and adapt to their methodology.

Additional Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary, teachers benefit from a supportive and well-organized working environment designed to ensure both professional growth and personal well-being.

The position offers a flexible teaching schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week, allowing teachers to maintain a healthy work-life balance while gaining experience with a wide range of learners, including young children, teenagers, and adults from A1 to C1 levels.

Teachers are provided with subsidized, fully furnished accommodation, including utilities and internet, making relocation smooth and stress-free. The academy also offers subsidized health insurance and assistance with visa processing, covering 50% of associated costs.

Professional development is a key part of their program. Teachers receive ongoing training and academic support, helping them strengthen their teaching skills and adapt to different age groups and proficiency levels.

Additional perks include Spanish lessons and cultural and social activities, giving teachers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture and build meaningful connections during their time in Ecuador.

  • Punctuality, reliability, and strong organizational skills
  • Openness to feedback and continuous professional development
