Why are they different?

They have come to realise that their strength lies in their uniqueness to offer a completely trouble free package for new TEFL teachers that wish to embark on a serious new career of teaching English abroad. Primarily cross cultural adaptation, tough regimental teaching practices, sorting out everything like accommodation, transport, sim cards, bank account, visas, work permit, pre document legalisation are all negated. As a TEFL teacher from the UK that has taught in Vietnam since 2005 I have seen all the problems that can arise - which are manifold.

Is it easy to get a job at New Vision?

No it definately isn't anymore. They are constantly perfecting company policies. To avoid wrongly orientated teachers being offered jobs their selection process is rigorous in evaluating factors such as creativity, resilience, ethical strength, adaptability, problem solving, emotional stabity- all these competancies are essential if you want to suceed in this challenging career and so avoid disappointments. In conclusion when you are first starting out you need to focus on gaining valuable experience without all the overwhelming additional additional factors that will be encountered. Over decades they have ironed out every crease or possible hurdle to maximise your initial personal developement.

Experience isn't a guarantee of success. The contract is for 1 year and includes teaching general English fror 28 hours per week to a variety of age groups mainly at public and private schools and sometimes at their English centre. Because teachers share a teacher's house (rent free) and are provided with transportation (a scooter) and living costs in Ha Tinh are amazingly

cheap it is still possible (if frugal) to save up to 9000 USD per year.

Ha Tinh is a quiet small coastal city between mid and north Vietnam.

As their teachers share similar ambitions and live together in a house a close team bond is established that will last a lifetime.
