About the Role

Join a global team of teachers to provide high-quality English instruction to young Taiwanese students. With the support of a head teacher and area manager, and working closely with administrative staff, you will use the HESS curriculum to plan and teach fun and comprehensive English lessons that center your students, guiding them through all aspects of the English language and encouraging them to use it freely and naturally. You will grade homework and assessments and communicate progress to parents through written reports and collaborate with your colleagues to put together extracurricular events.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

To meet Taiwanese government requirements for legal work authorization, it is necessary to hold a passport from a country where English is an official language, a bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved institution (holders of a US associate’s degree and TEFL certificate may also qualify), and to pass a national-level criminal background check.

Ideal candidates need to be interested in working with children, navigating living in a new country, empathetic, and adaptable.
