Job Details

They are a private English school for children, seeking a full time teacher who will be available from February, 2026.

*Position begins in March, 2026 after the teaching training.

Founded in 1997 they have been supported by many families living not just in Hanno but also in adjacent cities for 28 years. Though they have more than 270 students, they are always like one big family. You can hear a lot of laughter and students' enthusiastic voice while you teach. Also, their students usually learn at the school for 10 to 12 years. Thus, you can see their growth on a long term basis.

A native-level English full-time teacher, two Japanese full- time teachers share all of the classes. They teach communicative English. They use course books depending on the students' levels. They aim to make English fun. Also, by using supplementary materials, they try to foster the students' creativity and their capacity to express themselves. Special events include Halloween and Christmas week-long parties, summer school 3-day trip and an English card game tournament.

Teaching hours:

3:30 pm to 9:00 pm through Monday to Friday including preparation time.

Location:

It is located in Hanno, Saitama, Japan. Hanno is about an hour train ride from Tokyo. It's a nice Japanese suburb and the cost of living is low (compared to living in Tokyo). It is surrounded by nature and has some Japanese traditional sights.

Additional Benefits

Accommodation:

Fully furnished, one bed room, a dining- kitchen, a bath with a bathtub and a separate toilet, 5 minutes by bike, 10 minutes walking to the school.

*Accommodation fee is 80,000 yen but 50% of it is subsidized by the school.

Holidays:

Holidays are Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese national holidays with four weeks paid vacation per year.

Other:

Teaching training session will be provided.

Visa sponsorship for the right applicant.
