I was born in Huddersfield and studied in Sheffield where I got a BA (Hons) in the History of Art, Design and Film. After this, I moved to Paris in 1987 and then moved to Scotland in 1998. I've taught all over; in Paris, Beijing, New York, Harrogate, even Paisley and Glasgow. I am a qualified CELTA trainer with a Trinity College certificate and diploma.
I love TEFL because it's intellectually stimulating work which provides a huge variety of people, locations and settings. From the host of a French TV quiz show to the doorman of CBGBs, I've taught them all.
