Job Details

This company is a professional language training business. Their main corporate clients are the social foundation arms of Italian banks based in Milan.

They work on an informal basis with their ‘students’ (Italian finance and social impact professionals between the age of 25 and 60) to explore relevant global current affairs and topical content specifically related to individual student roles within the organisation. For example, topics might include; community regeneration, the use of agricultural technology, sponsorship of culture and the arts, the role of China in a future world, climate change, and specific funding presentations to Brussels.

Their aim is to improve the professional English communication capability of employees, whilst raising their exposure to interesting and relevant new content. They have a proven approach that is different from almost all other language training organisations.

Additional Benefits

They operate on an 'academic year' from October to June (inclusive).

All teachers are independent contractors to the company. Roles are not salaried. Remuneration is per teaching hour.

They promote continuity with clients, so teachers can build a relationship with students over the year

They offer initial induction and on-going teacher training (if required)

Unlike many other language schools, they pay teacher invoices within 3 days of month end

There is a discretionary bonus at the end of the academic year, based on the quality of feedback from clients and students
