Job Details

Responsibilities:

Teach engaging and effective English lessons online to junior learners (ages 4-6, 7-12, 13-18) and adults, improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Use well-designed high-quality teaching materials provided from top international publishers like National Geographic Learning, Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Barron’s.
Help students prepare for exams such as TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, and Taiwanese exams such as GEPT, CAP, and GSAT.
Provide constructive after-class feedback to students.

Teaching Hours:

Flexible scheduling, 24/7 availability.
Required to teach a minimum of 5 fixed hours per week during Peak Hours.
Peak hours (Taiwan Time, GMT+8):
Mon. - Fri. 19:30-20:15 / 20:30-21:15
Sat. - Sun. 08:30-09:15 / 09:30-10:15 / 10:30-11:15

Compensation

Base rates are determined after a 1-on-1 interview.
Top teachers who meet our requirements and show demonstrable pedagogical knowledge can earn up to USD 15 per 45-minute session.
High-performing teachers may qualify for premium courses, earning up to USD 33 per session depending on the type of class.

Requirements

Required:

CEFR C1+ English proficiency
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Minimum 1 year of ESL teaching experience
TESOL/TEFL/TESL qualification or a degree in education
Strong digital literacy and teaching skills
Passionate, energetic, and engaging personality

Preferred:

CEFR C2 English proficiency
Online ESL teaching experience
CELTA/DELTA trained and certified
