What does Level 5 mean?

You can get your Level 5 TEFL qualification entirely online with our 168-hour course, or combine it with a 20-hour weekend virtual classroom TEFL course. You set the pace when it comes to online study so you can fit the course around your schedule. And with our virtual classrooms no matter where you are in the US you can learn to teach, from teachers. Get the most out of your TEFL course with our brand new combined 188-hour level 5 TEFL qualification. We have combined the 168-hour Level 5 online course with a 20-hour virtual classroom course. The 168-hour online course can be completed at your own pace and you will be supported by a personal tutor from beginning to end. The 20-hour virtual classroom consists of 16 hours of teaching and 4 hours of pre-session tasks, with a range of dates and times available to suit you!
What does Ofqual regulation mean?
This course is regulated by TQUK, an Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) recognised awarding organisation. According to Ofqual’s qualifications framework, it has been assessed to be of the same level and difficulty as the following: a diploma of higher education (DipHE), a foundation degree, 2 years at university and the CELTA and Trinity CertTESOL qualifications.
