Q2. How many people will there be in the Liverpool TEFL classroom course?
A: There is a maximum class capacity of 20 and a minimum of 4 people per classroom.
Q3. How will my TEFL course be assessed?
A: For the classroom part of the course, as long as you successfully participate in all of the activities then you should pass the course – this is at the discretion of the tutor. For the online course, there are short assignments and activities to complete throughout the course and you do need to pass each assignment. You will have your own online tutor marking your work and giving you feedback, they are also there to answer any questions you may have. The assessments in the grammar course are automated as answers are simply right or wrong; there is a grammar tutor available if you do need any help. The pass rate for the course is very high.
It’s hands on! During our TEFL courses in Hull, our experienced trainers explain and demonstrate where appropriate, but we make sure our students get involved as much as possible. The best way to learn to TEFL is to TEFL, so look forward to lesson planning, games, and taking part in activities created by other people on the course.
You will create your very own lessons and have the chance to teach your peers. The course will enable you to fully understand how to adapt your lessons to suit different age groups and English levels.
