As their academic family grows, they seek a passionate Social Studies Teacher dedicated to developing students' analytical and critical thinking skills in grades 7 through 12.

Ideal candidates will have a strong command of the U.S. curriculum and expertise in Social Studies subjects. The ability to teach entry-level English Language Arts is a plus.

>> Role Overview

As a Social Studies teacher, you'll shape our students' educational journey through curriculum-aligned instruction delivered via online platforms. Your subject areas include U.S. History, World History, Psychology, and Geography (both standard and AP levels).

This role demands dedication, reliability, and enthusiasm for online education.

>> Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging online lessons for grades 7-12, following U.S. Curriculum guidelines
  • Monitor and assess student progress throughout the academic semester, providing comprehensive feedback to support both academic and personal growth
  • Effectively utilize digital learning platforms and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and student success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in the U.S. or Canada
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at middle or high school level; hagwon experience is valued
  • TEFL qualification
  • International school experience is preferred
  • Excellence in online communication and virtual classroom management
  • Native or near-native English fluency
  • Korean citizenship or F-visa holder status required
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and ability to engage students in virtual environments
