TEFL CVs – The Ultimate Guide (p8)

Step 8 – Checking

Now you have the content of your CV in place, it’s really important to make sure everything is correct.

Be sure to check that the text of your TEFL CV contains no spelling / punctuation / grammatical errors.Writesmall

Do NOT just rely on the spellchecking function of your word processing software.

Remember, you are applying for a job based on your ability in English, so any mistakes could make you look especially bad!

Sometimes, if you have the time, leaving your TEFL CV for a day or two before coming back and checking can be a good way for you to be able to look at it afresh.

Pay extra attention to contact details – a full stop out of place in your email address could mean a job offer goes astray!
