Job Details

Teach engaging and interactive math courses focused on pre-algebra and algebra to secondary-level students.
Lead group classes (90 minutes) with 6-12 students per session, following the provided curriculum.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
Collaborate with the LingoAce team to ensure class delivery meets educational standards and student needs.

Additional Benefits

If you become a new teacher and successfully complete a class by January 31st, you will receive a $100 incentive.
If you successfully complete a full semester of classes (18 weeks, one class per week), you will receive another $200 incentive.
If you refer a teacher and they finish their first class as scheduled by January 31st, you'll receive a $100 referral incentive.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field
TEFL Certificate
Experience teaching pre-algebra, or algebra at the middle school level
Native-level English speaker from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, or New Zealand

Preferred Experience:

Strong content knowledge in mathematics
Previous experience teaching or tutoring students
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
A degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
