Beachfront Volunteer English Club Facilitator
Job Details
This Club is a locally established beachfront fishing village English Club for local children. They are looking for dedicated team members to join them in developing the literacy of the local community. They believe that education is beyond academics. They believe in helping children achieve beyond their boundaries, discover their natural resources and talents, and use them in the right way. They believe that education is about the connections to the community, to the natural world, and humanitarian values. They do this by teaching the English Language
Job description include:
- Uphold the Club’s excellent standards of planning, execution and discipline.
- Responsible for reporting all issues from parents/guardians, students, patrons or partners to management, in the most efficient manner.
- Support the planning and execution of Sandcastle English Club’s production and workshops
- Support the Club’s external activities and outreach i.e. festivals, school fairs, workshops, education events, school outreach etc.
- Support their social media presence
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of workshop plans in accordance with Sandcastle English Club’s schemes of work
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of the working space
- Prepare and deliver workshops to a range of classes of different from age 3-12
- Maintain excellent archive of activities ie. photos, reports
- Research new topic areas and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge.
- Maintain excellent personal grooming standards at all times.
- Attend scheduled meetings as needed.
- Establish and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all.

Requirements
- Degree in any field required (a degree in natural sciences, performing arts, education or English language will be a bonus)
- Native Speakers only. Must have an excellent command of the English Language.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching/ education
- TEFL
- Tech Savvy
- Police Disclosure/ Police Check
- Passionate about education!
