A small, friendly, well-established English Language Academy in Lugo, Galicia. They are recruiting experienced and enthusiastic EFL teachers for the academic year 2023 / 2024.
They are especially interested in imaginative and warm candidates who have experience working with young learners and very young learners from the age of 4 years. They also offer classes for older school age students and adults. The position is for a minimum of 18 hours contact teaching time (most likely to be more up to a maximum of 25 hours per week) with occasional extra hours required on an ad hoc basis depending on the time of year.
Their lessons focus on fun communication-based tasks and teacher responsibilities include:
- Preparation and delivery of communicative English lessons
- Class administration.
- Attendance at team meetings.
- Assistance with exam preparation.
- Writing a termly report for each child.
Experience preparing students for the Cambridge English examinations essential.
They aim to foster a collaborative and fun working environment and are looking for team players who enjoy sharing ideas and helping their colleagues. This position involves living and working in a small town (approx. 100,000).
