They want enthusiastic and professional teachers who are easy-going, open to new ideas and who are also keen to share theirs. Teachers must know how to get the most out of all age-groups and levels, but at the same time be able to deliver dynamic and motivating lessons.

They offer a legal contract (25 hours a week in the afternoon/evening) from 16th September 2021 until 31st May 2022. Your salary will be 1,100 euros a month. Unfortunately they can’t provide accommodation but can help you to find it.

The successful candidates will have a degree plus TEFL certificate and previous experience in teaching of at least 1 year in General English. Experience teaching pre-schoolers and preparing students for the Cambridge English exams will be highly valuable.

Competence in the Spanish language is recommended but not essential . Must be someone patient, creative, enthusiastic, and must enjoy working with kids and teenagers.

Cantabria, undoubtedly, has the most stunning scenery in Spain and you will be amazed with its amazing beaches and mountain range, including the “Picos de Europa!”

However, the hot weather is not as guaranteed as if you were in the south, but nevertheless, the hot days are well worth a couple of rainy days!  Like the UK it keeps everything lush and green.  As part of an active and healthy social life you can count on plenty of oral practice with Spanish, horse-riding, canoeing, surfing, mountain hiking, sailing, and beach sports, this is only to start with! There is also a huge zoo called “Cabárceno,” to be visit that is famous throughout Europe.

You also have the Basque Country next door that is an hour away in the bus with plenty to do there in a day or weekend.  Asturias is on the other side with its own culture and customs that are well worth getting to know.  Asturias is also famous for the many dinosaur footprints still clearly seen on the coasts.
