Job Details

This school have a vacancy to begin February 2023 for a qualified English language teacher at a small language school in Elche, Alicante.

The position would involve teaching small groups, mainly primary children and teens plus some adult conversation classes.

Their students are motivated and are used to an English only classroom environment. They learn through dynamic, interactive activities and games. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with children and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.

The timetable is Monday to Thursday in the afternoon with an option to teach additional hours including some morning online classes. The initial contract is for 12 teaching hours per week with a chance to increase hours in September.

They are interested in hearing from experienced teachers who can hit the ground running or even those who are starting out and need some more guidance and support. They recognise that character and other experiences are just as important as hours spent in the classroom!

The ideal candidate must be professional and passionate about teaching with a motivation to develop. They offer competitive pay and you’ll have the opportunity to develop professionally with ongoing training and workshops.

Their school is small but growing quickly and therefore, this is a great opportunity for teachers who wish to take on some extra responsibilities.

Applicants must be native speakers of English or have a near native level of English and spent some time living in an English speaking country,

You must have an EU passport or permission to work in Spain.

A knowledge of Spanish is useful but not essential.

You will receive a contract of employment with Social Security contributions, 2 weeks paid holiday at Christmas and 1 week at Easter.

They will be reviewing all applications the week commencing 2nd January 2023.
