Job Details

They are a language training company based in the North of France and specialize in business language training for adult professionals. Their clients are major players in the retail, banking, textiles and industrial sectors. They are looking for experienced teachers who have excellent knowledge of the business world (I.T., marketing, HR, legal, UX design…). All lessons would be done using standard conf call software (Google Meet/Skype…), so they have no pre-requisites in terms of location. They are looking for freelance teachers, and do not guarantee a minimum number of hours per month but hope to create long-term partnerships with the right people. Knowledge of French is useful but not mandatory. English does not have to be your native language, but you must have excellent working knowledge of English in addition to your knowledge of the business world. Most of their courses are individual lessons, and tailor-made to suit the needs of the learner. The right candidate must be fully autonomous in course content creation.

Overview:

Sessions ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.
Hourly rate up to €30/hour (depending on experience and student feedback).
Adult students only, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
No minimum number of teaching hours (you will be paid for the number of hours taught each month).
You will teach from the comfort of your own home.
You will need an excellent internet connection, access to Google tools (Gmail, Google cloud and Google Meet), and a quiet room.
Full training provided.

What you will do:

Create your own lesson plans and course material to guide and teach adult learners.
Encourage learners to feel confident speaking in English about their jobs (making presentations, taking part in meetings, writing emails and other documentation…).
Teach one-on-one classes, in the fields of I.T., HR, marketing, legal and more.
Meet amazing people from various career backgrounds, working with some of the world’s leading companies.

You must be:

A registered independent worker (freelance). You will invoice us each month for the hours you have taught.
Able to work autonomously.
A dynamic and engaging individual. Your natural curiosity and listening skills will help you develop course content that matches learner expectations. (We will help you with this depending on your experience).
Disciplined and rigorous in your approach.

Degree required: No.

TEFL Certificate: 40+ hours

Teaching experience: Yes. With adult learners, in the business world.

Contract length: Indefinite

Hourly rate: up to €30/hour

Additional Benefits

None

Requirements

You must be registered with your local authority as a self-employed teacher.
