They are one of the most successful schools in Eastern Sicily and the quality of their teaching staff is crucial to their reputation.
They are currently recruiting for the academic year 2022-2023 and are looking for teachers with a strong professional outlook to join them. Contracts run from October to mid June with the possibility of renewal for a second year if wished.
Teaching hours max 25 per week.
They mainly teach groups but do offer one to one lessons where appropriate. Their students range from 6-7 year olds to adults and they have levels from complete beginners to C1 plus.
As an Authorised Cambridge exam centre they organise and run exams in both state schools and on their own premises while aiming to expand their work with local businesses by offering more business and tourism oriented courses, both online and in person.
The school has multimedia support in every classroom and there are also excellent resource libraries in the 3 centres. At Red Bus, supporting teachers is central to their core philosophy, they encourage sharing of ideas and materials, peer to peer learning and they also have a programme of workshops and training courses to allow staff to explore new ideas and methods.
Last year they started up a programme of social activities such as board game nights, films and story telling to take English outside the classroom and into the community.
So if you love teaching and want to make a difference to your students’ lives, send them your CV and join the Red Bus teaching team!
