Job Details

They are a language school located in Verbania, a beautiful area in the North of Italy, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The school is looking for a passionate language tutor to join its staff.

This position is open for a native-level/mother tongue speaker who is willing to commit to a summer period in Italy, with the possibility of obtaining a permanent position for the next academic year 2023/24.

The candidate must be able to work from 26th June 2023 until 14th July 2023 and will be involved in a Summer Camp for kids from 8 to 14 years of age at the seaside in the Liguria region.

This is an ideal work opportunity for anyone who wishes to taste the Italian culture, to meet their team and to understand their teaching methodology.

It’s a paid position which includes training, all meals and accommodation throughout your stay in Liguria.

It will also be an opportunity to consider a permanent full time teaching position for the following academic year from September 2023 to June 2024.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • EU resident, eligible to work in Italy
  • University/College degree
  • Fun, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking and high energy person
  • Genuine interested in working with children
  • Willing to learn new teaching methods
  • Open-minded, with an interest in learning about other cultures and societies
  • Friendly and able to work as part of a team
Preferred, but not essential:
  • Skills in music and/or drama
  • Ability to facilitate a variety of group programmes including sports, arts and crafts, theatre, games, etc.
  • Italian language speaker
  • Driving license
