Touring ESL Tutors Wanted
A non-profit organisation touring Northern Italy
Tour Northern Italy as an Educo tutor!
They are a non-profit organisation focused on making language learning fun and interactive. Their learning philosophy focuses on four areas; Motivation to Learn, Digital Innovation, Creative Application and Global Citizenship. They do this be embracing a range of methodologies including T.I.E, Drama, Gamification, CLIL and Storytelling.
Their tour operates from February – June (TBC) delivering a range of workshops and courses.
During the tour you will:
>Tour as a team of two tutors each responsible for your own classes/workshops
>Deliver pre-set Drama based CLIL sessions
>Create and deliver your own sessions using Educo methodologies
>Deliver projects both face-to-face and online
>You will be teaching a range of levels from Primary to Secondary
>Attend 2 week training period from 17th January
>This role is flexible based on bookings with an average of 25 contact hours per week Mon-Sat plus travel.

>Shared accommodation and all associated bills
>€150 training wage / €250 tour wage
This is a complex role that will see tutors working with a number of different schools, teachers, projects and children. As such they require tutors who are passionate about teaching and their organisation. This passion will help tutors through times where answers may not be easily acquired and days are long. They are looking for tutors who have experience working independently (you will not be based near their office), have exceptional problem solving skills and able to work well under pressure.
>Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a related field e.g. English Language, Education, Drama and Performing Arts OR evidence of extensive experience in English/drama teaching
>Experience in planning, creating and delivering lessons/ workshops
>TEFL, TESOL, English Language Teaching experience
>Excellent communication skills
>Ability to work autonomously including managing own budgets, expenses, reimbursements and car maintenance
>Very good organisational skills
>EU passport or a working holiday visa with at least 6 months work allowance from February.
>Touring or travelling experience
>International Experience, Creative skills such as music, arts and crafts and performance.
>Full drivers licence (they will need at least one strong driver)
