Red Bus English School is one of the most successful schools in Eastern Sicily and the quality of their teaching staff is crucial to their reputation
They are currently recruiting for the academic year 2023-2024 and are looking for teachers with a strong professional outlook to join them. Contracts run from October to mid June with the possibility of renewal for a second year if wished.
Maximum of 25 hours a week mainly afternoon and evening classes. They mainly teach groups but do offer one to one lessons as well. Their students range from 6 -7 year-old to adults, and they have levels from complete beginners to C1 plus.
As an Authorised Cambridge exam centre they organise and run exams in both state schools and on their own premises while they aim to expand their work with local businesses by offering more business and tourism-oriented courses, both online and in person. The school has multimedia support in every classroom and there are also excellent resource libraries in the 3 centres. At Red Bus, supporting teachers is central to their core philosophy, they encourage sharing of ideas and materials, peer to peer learning and also have a programme of workshops and training courses to allow staff to explore new ideas and methods.
They also have a social programme for students of different age groups including board game nights, films and story-telling events to take English outside the classroom and into the community.
