EFL Teaching Assistant

This role is feasible for those who have a confident and forward personality and, of course, a high standard of spoken English.

This organisation are looking for confident and enthusiastic individuals to join their team teaching basic English in one of their many schools and kindergartens across China. You’ll be teaching basic oral English to either kindergarten classes, adult education centres or high schools.

Each position is basic in principal, but challenging and equally rewarding. It’s feasible for those who have a confident and forward personality and, of course, a high standard of spoken English.

The classes are performed using a mix of picture cards, toys and teaching aids, nursery rhymes, dances, day trips etc. and the project incentive is to provide classes that are energetic, interactive, and fun for the kids, whilst offering full support inside and outside the classroom for their teachers.

You’ll be provided with free accommodation which is usually on (if not very close to) the school campus, as well as a more than comfortable wage whilst there.

You’ll also be given training and opportunities to practice your lesson plans beforehand, as well as an in-depth introduction to the role and a realist approach to how the Chinese lifestyle may suit you.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher as well as a TEFL certificate
