This role is based at an established educational consulting company, based in Shanghai, China. They’re looking for passionate and outgoing English teachers to join their team.
You’ll be teaching students from the ages of 3-12 years old. You’ll work approximately 37 hours per week, 22 of which being teaching hours. The contract runs for 1 year, beginning any time of year.
Planning and delivering lessons based on teaching materials provided by employer
Using a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, multimedia, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc.) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing communication/guidance for improvement to both students and their parents
Following and complying with teaching standards and safety regulations
Salary and benefits:
14,000 -17,000 CNY after tax, dependent on previous experience. (Equivalent to around £1600 – 1900/month)
Sponsored and reimbursed work visa
Accommodation in Shanghai (worth 3,000 CNY/month ≈ £340/month)
Flight tickets reimbursed upon completing 1 year of work (worth 8,000 CNY ≈ £900)
